Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of your thoughts, emotions, bodily reactions, and your surrounding environment with openness and enjoyment. Mindfulness has research-backed results that include reduction is stress and improvements in job satisfaction, focus, and overall peace and strength from within.
Mindfulness classes is learning the art of paying attention, it teaches you to listen to your heart. Rather than withdrawing from the painful situation or the world, Mindfulness can help you enjoy your life more fully, effectively and peacefully.
Sessions are for youth, teens and adults and are intended to support anyone who is interested in developing and sustaining regular mindfulness practice throughout not only your day, but lifestyle and these classes offers you the way to step out of the often relentless busy lifestyle you find yourself in.
Prerequisite: An open mind and willingness to allow yourself to learn new methods of reacting and thinking to begin to de-stress. It is not recommended for anyone dealing with bi-polar unless with the permission of your doctor.
Duration: Classes typically meet once per week, and run for 6 weeks. Adjustments to program may be made for your unique requirements.
