Something for your Pet

Reiki and Your Pet

Reiki and healing energy have many benefits for your pet ranging from relaxation, supporting healing, helping with grief or anxiety, or even helping with behavioral issues.  Sometimes

the effects of a session can be seen immediately, sometimes it take a few sessions.

Energy/Reiki work is intelligent and intuitive on its own.  It is always utilized for the highest and best good for all.  It seeks out energetic imbalances and provides healing through the

energetic pathways of the body.   It goes where it needs to go.  By treating imbalances in the body, Reiki can be used to help stimulate health and natural healing.

It is very important to realize that Reiki should never be seen as a replacement to conventional medicine, medications or recommendations by your veterinary doctor. Always seek

veterinary advice if your pet is ill.  You can even discuss an energy session with your vet to gain their permission if necessary.

All sessions should include you in the room with your pet as they are very familiar with you and do not know me.   I may even sit at a distance to assess the animal’s temperament and

allow them on their own to sense and respond to the Reiki energy.

Sometimes you will notice your pet on their own will come closer to me, sometimes they even leave the room and you think nothing is happening.  Just like you cannot see behind the scenes of your light switch when you turn it on to turn on your light, it is the same with ‘energy’; although you cannot see it, your pet will be able to feel it.
